There Are No Words
Jan Kordylewski posts photos on his blog without any cropping or changes to his original framing. And you know what? He don’t need to because this man can take a picture! Case in point: Image 00136, an abstract study of color and form as much as it is a peach building. Or our favorite: Image 00191 whose moody landscape feels like a home on the wrong side of the tracks in South Carolina rather than suburban Queens.
Ken “The Moose” Wilkinson’s Big Yeti Excursion
What can we say about Ken “The Moose” that he hasn’t said about himself already? For starters, how many podcasts do you know that star a geoducker living in the Yukon fighting big foot? Yeah, that’s what we thought. Here’s something else to add to your excitment: The Moose will be featured in an upcoming episode of FLUSH TV. Stay tuned!
Unleashed
Unleashed is a totally funny animated Internet show following animal actors in Hollywood. Mainly it follows Dog, and his well-meaning but lacklustre agent Stan who keeps sending Dog on meaningless auditions for drivel like dog food. The episodes are really short, so you can catch up on all 5 seasons in less than an hour. Start with Season 1. You’ll be hooked by the time the catchy theme song comes on at the end credits.
ZipZapZop
Back in 2005, when we had never heard of a video podcast, watching our friend Clark Saturn’s ZipZapZop vlog planted the seed that became FLUSHTV.com. ZipZapZop is a Rennaisance vlog, highlighting the many talents of it’s creator: acting, music, German cooking, teaching German with Barbie dolls (okay, that’s another site of his), juicing. Since having a kid, Clark doesn’t post as much, but if he never vlogged again it would be okay because he made this: FLUSH TV’S FAVORITE VLOG POST EVER!! That’s some legacy.
Toxic Pop TV
An offshot of Tom Tenney’s Toxic Pop Art Stars Web Site where you can get all the news of the happenings and whos who of NYC’s Lower East Side scene, this video archive will keep you entertained for hours with video posts like Lord of the Cock Rings, and Gay Pimp’s fan-tabulous music video Lookin’ Cute, Feelin’ Cute, a FLUSH TV must-see. Need we say more?
It’s Jerry Time
This is one of the best, most creative shows online. Period. Start at the beginning with “Who’s That Guy?” and “The Landlord.”
Four Eyed Monsters
This episodic video podcast has a soft spot in our hearts since it’s about trying to get an indy movie made … and we know a lot about that! Start with Episode 1, sit back, and enjoy Arin and Susan truly creative, and riveting storytelling. If you like what you see, request to see their feature length film.
Freevlog
If it weren’t for Ryanne and Michael’s instructional videos, FLUSH TV wouldn’t have happened because we never would’ve figured out how to do all the technical mumbo jumbo required in setting it up. Learn how to build your vlog from the ground up, and support these guys any way you can.
Sean’s Vlog
Sean Gilligan is family to FLUSH TV. He’s the man behind Vlog Central - from which all our video is fabulously hosted, but he’s also been one of our biggest supporters over the years. Sean’s a dad, and he posts lots of fun, home footage of his kids on his vlog, and his kids’ friends, like Get Katie’s Dad. (Looks like Katie’s Dad got them!)
Steve Garfield’s Video Blog
Steve Garfield knows every vlogger in the world! Or is it every vlogger knows Steve Garfield?! Well, not only did Steve introduce us to Sean Gilligan, and Vlog Central, but his show Vlog Soup has kept us abreast of many a cool vlog and video whatnot. Only problem: as far as we know, FLUSH TV hasn’t been featured on the Soup yet! What gives?! Steve — when ya going to show the plumbers some love?!
Human Dog Productions
Summer of V’s “Thank You for Watching” is one of our favorite videos EVER!
Richard Show
There’s something about Richard. From the goofy animated opening, to “Richard’s Wife,” who cameos frequently (and patiently) in a lot of his videos, we just like him. But then, he had us at hello ever since he posted The Carp Caviar Polar Bear New Year’s Day video — Mrs. Vanderbuilt’s knowing better and the instant reply are priceless.
A Little While
This is a truly lovely vlog featuring short (under a minute) non-fictional moments like this recent post of a Drumming Boy and this beautiful post, FireWorks. Send them one of your moments — they like getting submissions.
