BEHIND THE CAMERA
Jennifer B. Katz (creator)
Jennifer Katz is a writer, director and producer living in Brooklyn, NY. She still drives the ’94 Volvo 940 that inspired her Showtime feature film, “101 Ways (the things a girl will do to keep her Volvo),” and has successfully fought her last two parking tickets. She began channeling her scatological ideology into FLUSH TV in 2001, but still harbors an inexplicable fear of exposed pipes, and tank toilets.
Maya Rossi (associate producer)

Maya Rossi is a musician, artist and certified ProblemSolver™ living in Brooklyn, NY. Since graduating from the New School, Maya has enjoyed drinking coffee daily, lifting heavy objects, and learning everything she can about being the best production assistant in the world. (Not surprisingly) she is currently overloaded with freelance gigs, and her feet are, consequently, in a perpetual state of pain.
Christopher Joy (associate producer)

Chris Joy lives in Brooklyn, NY and is an expert game player.
IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA
W. Hodding Carter (writer, author, and unofficial plumber)

Hodding Carter continues to turn his childhood fascinations into a means of livelihood. He first started with an excursion retracing the Lewis and Clark Trail, documented in his book Westward Whoa. Next, Hodding became a modern day Viking, recreating Leif Eriksson’s voyage to North America on a replicated Viking knarr (ship), an experience documented in A Viking Voyage and An Illustrated Viking Voyage. Then he explored the ecological crisis in the Florida Everglades and published Stolen Water. It was only a matter of time before he responded to his deepest childhood fascination: toilet flushing, with Flushed: How the Plumber Saved Civilization. Call us prejudice, but we think it’s his best book yet!
Jimmy Levine (master plumber)
Jimmy Levine always thought he’d grow up to be a movie star or NBA player, but surprised himself by turning the plumbing trade into its own art. Now, a long time master plumber himself, Jimmy reserves the twinkle in his eye for the cameras of FLUSH TV. Jimmy’s favorite kind of plumbing job: dig outs.
Tom Levine (master plumber)
Tom Levine first started working at his father’s plumbing business when he was 16 years old. He has been a master plumber for 55 years. Tom recently semi-retired and now works only 40 hours a week (instead of 60). He hopes one of his granddaughters will become the first female plumber in the family.
Dan Levine (master businessman/spin meister)
After getting a MBA from Yale University, Dan Levine took a high falutin’ business consulting job in New York City, but was thrilled to return to the family business after his first child, Gillian, was born. A master debt-collector, Dan can track down deadbeat customers better than Dog, the bounty hunter. He’s also been instrumental in launching some of the most successful marketing campaigns in the Detroit region, most notably Flying Super Plumbing Guy, and Michigan’s first Plumbing Warehouse-on-Wheels. He can also unload a dishwasher in under two minutes.
