Just when GM’s going down the toilet, Flush TV may very well save Detroit!

Hey, this reminds me, “Honey, can you jiggle the chain?”

Seat up, seat down, I LOVE it.

I like the TV quality of it, thought it added a nice ironic touch to the great source material. I’m a fan.

    Hey Jen,

There is a good chance that GM may call it quits this year or next - that would be bad for Detroit.

Keep up the good work though.

    Hey Jen,

Great stuff. Very well done, good choice on family.

I like it! Desperate Housewives-meets-Studs Terkel.

I loved it! Especially as I’ve just finished a four-year stint in the residential renovations business working with plumbers, electricians, painters, etc. It’s a pretty tough way to make a living so it was really refreshing to see someone present these folks as they are, not as they would be if they had ten PAs and an Art Dept. backing them up, which is what most of “reality TV” appears to be.

  14. Kai Says:

Very entertaining! I’ll never look at a plumber the same
way. Awaiting Episode II…Revenge of the Shit?

  15. Mike W. Says:

Great Quality!!!!!!! I liked it a lot. I could easily see this on Discovery/Learning Channel type cable station.

  16. Ellen Says:

I enjoyed your show very much and I’d love to see another episode. In a very short time, we got to know those guys and got a look at something from someone else’s point of view — a real accomplishment.

Well done, Jennifer! I love the opening titles - congrats to Jared on that. The show feels real and it’s funny. Best time I’ve had thinking about bathrooms and plumbing. Way to go!

  19. JuanFalla Says:

Pretty cool. Very “easy” to watch. And enjoyable.

Yes! The advantage of vlogging! There’s no boss or lawyer telling you what to do! Awesome!!!! All creative ideas are up to us. More control. Nice.

  20. Dennis Says:

I like it! Very fun and nice quality show.

The Best non-broadcast piece I have seen. If you’re producing the whole thing solo, don’t take anything less than Executive Producer and keep creative control. Anyone saying this show needs “more” is a moron.

Find and editor but the dialog driven story line is definitely top notch. See you on TLC…

  22. elisabeast Says:

wonderful, great camera angles and editing..

Jennifer: What a great little piece! I loved it. Believe it or not, it actually reminds me of the way a lot of computer consultants and technicians are viewed by their customers or view themselves. What especially struck me was the part about how the customer is already angry when they call up for help and resentful that they have to pay money to fix this machine that they don’t really see the value of anyway. Many folks in business see their computer like their toilet: a necessary appliance but an unwanted expense. Computer consulting, much like plumbing, needs a whole new positive, proactive spin. That’s what I am doing at http://AlisonBronscott.blogspot.com.

Great job with the video and editing. The subject, “plumbers,” was an interesting choice but you really put it together well. Hard Knock Life was a great choice for one of the songs. Good luck with everything. - DQ

    Tom Levine - Plumbing God.

Too funny. I guess if your job is dealing with plumbing problems, you better have a sense of humor.

Why so many deleted comments? Too bad about the break in! I would have to say “Plumbing God” dont think so! But good stuff, and good to see the concern about the customer is still some what is out there. Yours truly Paul /scott.
